US Shipping

I had to put US shipping on hold since summer 2025 because of the new import taxes put into place by the US government. The rates and conditions kept changing all the time, nobody knew for sure which information was valid, or legal, or any of these things at all. As a small business owner with a day job, the burocratic jungle and uncertainty wasn't something I could confidently handle.

The solution? Squirrels!

My store has two locations now: one in Germany (my home base), and one in the US. All US orders will be shipped by the lovely team at White Squirrel, a fullfilment service in Washington.

I will ship a bunch of stock in one go over to their warehouse, where it will be stored. If you live in the US and place an order, the Squirrels will pack your goodies and ship them out to you.

Handling Fee
In order for the Squirrels to buy nutricious acorns and keep their nests warm, a handling fee of 5.00 € will be charged per order.

Tariffs and Taxes
You will not be charged any import taxes for EU/Chinese manufactured goods, because your order ships from a US warehouse (yippieh!).  BUT depending on where you order from within the US, you might be charged Washington's sale's tax at check-out. I'm obligated to collect those taxes and then pass them on to the US government.

Restocks
I will be shipping merch for the US bundled up in one big box. That way it might take longer for items to restock when they're sold out. Whenever I announce a new product or a restock on social media I will give a release estimate for the US location.

Product Availability
I try to keep the same products available for my location in Germany and the US location. If I have low stock of an item that I don't plan to restock, it might not be available to US customers anymore. I will put a list together of those items at some point.

Original Art
Original artwork will only be available for customers outside the US for the time being as I can't store the same unique piece at two locations. If you're interested in an original you can contact me through my shop's contact form and we'll figure out payment and shipping through a good ol' Paypal invoice.
